Biography

Leading on the day-to-day delivery of the Quality Improvement Projects and Building Capabilities workstream, with a focus on Berkshire Healthcare’s Trust-wide approach for ensuring Trust staff have the skills, knowledge, and tools to identify an issue, implement interventions and make improvements to quality. Developing and delivering Green and Yellow Belt training (LCS accredited by Cardiff University). Providing coaching on the application of the Lean improvement methodology to improvement projects across all levels of the organisation. Provide guidance to staff on identifying opportunities for improvement, using data driven decision making and A3 project methodology. Assessing improvement project presentations and certifying Yellow and Green Belt trainees. Leading the use of the QI Projects Prioritisation process in divisions and embedding QI project alignment to the quality management system from director level to frontline services. Leading, supporting and mentoring more junior members of the QI Team to deliver and support Yellow Belt training and coaching. Leading, supporting, and mentoring member of the QI Team with their own QI Projects. Acting as an expert to the organisation on the A3 and other Lean improvement tools, behaviours, and mindset. Contributing to the development of long-term strategic improvement plans that are informed by the Trust’s True North objectives, including leading and facilitating large scale projects. Supporting all aspects of organisation and delivery of complex Lean training modules and coaching sessions throughout the Trust. Supporting the developing of the QI programme and working across various work streams to support and embed improvement culture (including the training and use of the quality management improvement system).
