Terms & Conditions – LCS Conference: The Future of Improvement  

  1. Ticketing & Transfers
  • Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another attendee at no extra cost. 
  • To transfer a ticket, the original purchaser must contact info@leancompetency.org with the new attendee’s name, dietary requirements, and workshop session preferences at least 72 hours before the event. 
  • The new attendee must comply with these Terms & Conditions. 
  1. Refund Policy
  • We do not offer refunds for any reason, including: 
  • Changes in personal circumstances 
  • Travel disruptions or cancellations 
  • Failure to attend for any reason 
  1. Event Changes
  • We reserve the right to alter the agenda, speakers, or venue if necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated as soon as possible. 
  • In the unlikely event of postponement, all tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. 
  1. Travel & Accommodation
  • Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. 
  • We will not offer refunds or compensation for travel-related issues, including delays, cancellations, or force majeure events (e.g. strikes, extreme weather). 
  1. Code of Conduct
  • All attendees are expected to act professionally and respectfully towards speakers, sponsors, and fellow attendees. 
  • We reserve the right to remove any attendee engaging in disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful behaviour without a refund. 
  • Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. 
  1. Photography & Media
  • By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes. 
  • If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform the event organisers at info@leancompetency.org before the event. 
  1. Accessibility & Special Requirements

We aim to make the event accessible to all attendees. As part of the registration process, you will receive a follow-up email requesting any dietary, accessibility, or other special requirements. Please ensure that you provide this information to us before the event. 

  1. Liability
  • The organisers are not responsible for personal belongings, injury, or losses incurred during the event. Attendees should arrange their own insurance if required. 
  1. Force Majeure
  • We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: 
  • Natural disasters 
  • Strikes or industrial action 
  • Government restrictions 
  • Public health emergencies
