Rosie the Riveter Song
Simon Elias, Former Director, Lean Competency System (until Oct 2023) | 01st October 2015
Rosie the Riveter represents the American women who worked in factories during World War II, producing armaments and war supplies. Training Within Industry (TWI) was developed to enable such factory operatives to produce appropriate quality products quickly and efficiently and TWI proponents claim that it is formed the basis of the Toyota Production System. The song was released by the The Four Vagabonds in 1943.
