Matteo is a management engineer passionate in lean, with over 10 years of experience in production system design and lean program implementation in the manufacturing & construction industry. For his master thesis, he developed a lean assessment tool in collaboration with the Swisscom lean management & continuous improvement department in Bern. He pursued his research in the areas of lean innovation and lean management as part of his on-going collaboration with the Lean Analytics Association & the chair of Production Operations Management of ETH Zurich. Currently, Matteo is supporting the Hilti Group through its Operational Excellence journey as part of his role as Global Lean & Process Manager at the Hilti headquarter in Schaan.
