Knowledge Resources
This section lists knowledge resources for learning, teaching and applying lean thinking.
Aids to understanding, teaching & practising lean
There’s plenty of resources to help in understanding, teaching and practising lean. These include useful links to other websites, the lean knowledge base, guides to developing tests, multiple choice question banks and key lean books. Note that you will need to be logged in as a practitioner member to access this area.
Articles
There are articles on a broad range of topics in the Articles section – plus a facility to submit an article for publication on the LCS website
Videos
Videos are increasingly used in training courses and with the growth of YouTube, there’s now a video for almost any topic. The LCS selects those relevant to the lean thinker and practitioner and places them in the Video section, which has a neat ‘word cloud’ graphic showing different topics.
Events
There are many conferences, workshops and seminars that a lean practitioner can attend to learn about new topics, innovations and others’ implementation experiences – plus, of course, to network with fellow professionals. The Events area lists a wide variety of gatherings taking place in Europe.
